ScooterPro

Hi, this is ScooterPro, Taiwan. We collect and refurbish used scooters from 50cc to 150cc, and export them worldwide. We also supply scooters in as-is condition and the good 2nd-hand parts. Generally speaking, the as-is scooters need some sort of repairing so as to function properly.

We export on container basis, but if you are interested to buy just one or a few pieces, we also welcome your inquiry, and would do our best to offer you workable prices.

We would constantly update the info in the website. So, don't forget to drop by once in a while to see if there is any new material. And if you have any question about the two-wheel from Taiwan, either for commercial purposes, or for personal interests, we would be very happy to tell you all we know.

Sincerely yours,

Ray Shiue

SOMETHING YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED TO KNOW ABOUT US, AND SCOOTERS IN TAIWAN

Taiwan is a big market, yet small place, for two-wheel. Its 23 million residents own more than 10 million two-wheel in total, of which more than 90% are scooters. Every morning, you see thousands of scooters and a few motorcycles pass by if you stand around the corner of any street in Taipei. The total units of two-wheel sold per year once reached its all-time high of 1.05 million units 7 years ago. In 2001, the toal market was 620,000 units, big slump compared to 7 years ago, but still second to none compared to other countries of the same size, and population.

All the big-four Jaapnese brands are present in Taiwan, while Kawasaki takes up very small market share for an obvious reason. They don't make scooters. Honda has 2 affiliated factories, Sym and Kymco, each using their own brand names, instead of Honda. Yamaha and Suzuki are working closely with their Japanese mother companies. Starting from year 2002, Yamaha Japan imports for their own domestic market all the 50 to 125cc scooters from Yamaha Taiwan. This gives you an insight into the quality of scooters made in Taiwan.

Strangely enough, in a place like this, we are the only company we know that refurbish and export 2nd-hand scooters worldwide.
